DESCRIPTION
This hands-on, practical and applied Insurance course has a contemporary focus. It is taught in a highly supportive and welcoming environment by tutors with advanced Knowledge on Insurance laws and policies. Alongside an exploration of the major components in Insurance, you will be taught some business and communication courses.
Teaching
You are taught through a combination of interactive lectures, seminars and individual/ small group projects with a strong emphasis on real-world scenarios and practical applications.
Besides, meetings with your academic tutor will take place regularly. A framework has been put in place to provide need-based support through the course leader throughout the program. Additional time is also built into modules to discuss progress with module tutors.
On successful completion of the HND, you have the opportunity to continue with your studies and “top up” your HND into a B.Sc. or Bachelor of Science degree by studying for one academic year.
Employability
You will be able to select from a wide range of sectors; including accounting, banking, insurance, human resources, operations management, marketing, advertising, retail, distribution, sales, and leisure. You are likely to work initially as a trainee manager in a large organization, or perhaps as a junior manager in a smaller one before moving on to more senior management positions.
